Job summary
TCG Labs-Soleil seeks aSenior Scientist/Principal Scientist to lead analytical and biophysical characterization within the Protein Sciences group. On-site at South San Francisco, you will drive developability assessments, design robust analytical strategies, and guide data-driven candidate selection.
You will manage a small analytical team, collaborate across research, CMC, and programs, and mentor junior scientists while advancing regulatory-ready data packages for biologics such as antibodies
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent in a related discipline with 5+ years' experience in protein/antibody characterization and developability.
- Hands-on expertise in biophysical and analytical techniques and developability studies.
- Experience leading analytical strategy and mentoring junior scientists.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and execute analytical/biophysical methods for diverse protein formats.
- Lead developability assessments, evaluate stability, solubility, aggregation, and PTMs.
- Serve as technical lead in due diligence and program discussions; interact with senior leadership.
- Manage CRO partnerships for assay work, validation, and tech transfer.
- Mentor junior scientists and guide cross-functional teams.
