Exelon is seeking a General Engineer to lead and support engineering efforts across BGE/Exelon’s electric Protection & Control engineering. The role requires broad utility knowledge, develops engineering solutions, manages deliverables, and ensures compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include leading system evaluations, safety and reliability initiatives, budgeting, coordinating with stakeholders, and field issue resolution. Extended hours possible during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE licensure.
• 4-7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Knowledge of regulations, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to complex engineering assignments with guidance.
• Leads small projects coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Provides technical support for design, installation and maintenance.
