Job summary

The Morton Arboretum is seeking a strategic leader to design and champion a comprehensive prospect management and analytics program. You will leverage wealth screenings, predictive modeling, and AI tools to identify untapped philanthropic potential and optimize portfolios across the Development Operations team.

Responsibilities include guiding frontline fundraisers, developing scoring models, and establishing data‑driven strategies to maximize fundraising outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of prospect research and analytics in a nonprofit environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with data mining, AI tools, and statistical analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive prospect management program for institutional, major, and principal gift prospects.
• Develop and apply prospect scoring models, predictive analytics, and donor segmentation.
• Partner with frontline fundraisers and leadership to provide data‑driven guidance and portfolio recommendations.
• Identify mid‑major, major, and principal prospects using wealth screening, analytics, and research.
• Oversee portfolio management standards, policies, and performance metrics.
