Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Engine Test Lead for the Small Uncrewed Engines development team in the Evendale area to own test strategy and data-driven decisions. You will lead planning, instrumentation, and execution of GE426 and GK1500 programs, coordinating across multiple sites and partners, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engine testing, experience with test data analysis and instrumentation, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Engine Testing experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test strategy and execution for engine programs, including component, module, and full-engine testing.
• Coordinate multi-site test operations across GE Evendale, KTT, Edwards AFB, Purdue University, and government facilities.
• Serve as primary technical interface with Kratos Turbine Technologies and partners for test activities and governance.
• Define facilities, data acquisition systems, measurement capability, adapters, mounts, and tooling for test campaigns.
• Lead data analysis, reporting, root-cause investigation, and translate results into engineering recommendations.
• Own test safety, risk management, and compliance across all test sites with readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions.
• Drive cross-functional execution with teams to improve efficiency and data quality, capturing lessons learned and standard work.
• Travel approximately 25%.
