Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Propulsion Test Engineer III for Lunar Permanence in the Greater Seattle Area. You will own engine testing, ground support activation, component and system tests for MK2 Alpha Lander fluids and propulsion, and supervise technicians during setup and teardown.

Responsibilities include developing test methods, coordinating facilities, and ensuring safety and data integrity across campaigns. Strong background in cryogenic testing and propulsion is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical, or related engineering.
• 8+ years of propulsion test experience.
• Experience writing and executing test procedures.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and stay ambitious.
• Experience reading P&ID schematics and layouts.
• Understanding pressure, flow, and temperature instrumentation fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures for propulsion system tests.
• Plan, design, fabricate, install, and operate test capabilities for fluids and propulsion.
• Coordinate and direct test teams and GSE during campaigns.
• Maintain test equipment configuration control and calibration.
• Document/test data and support verification tasks.
