Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Denver seeks an experienced mechanical/aerospace engineer to join our propulsion ground fluids systems team. The role emphasizes design, system integration, and trade studies to optimize manufacturability, safety, and performance, while supporting the design team, suppliers, and launch sites to meet schedules.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 6 years of related experience; travel up to 10% and relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university/college (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
• Ability to work independently to develop engineering solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to perform system design and integration for manufacturing, safety and performance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and relocate if needed.
• Must obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, systems integration, and support for propulsion ground fluid systems.
• Develop system and component designs to satisfy propulsion requirements.
• Carry out design trade studies to optimize for manufacturability and safety.
• Generate engineering drawings, assembly, and testing requirements.
• Support production, suppliers, and launch sites to meet schedules and resolve issues.
