Job summary

Boeing's Propulsion Product Development team in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Propulsion Structures Design Engineer to advance nacelle technology for the next generation Boeing Commercial Airplanes program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical or Materials).
• 5+ years of experience with Propulsion Nacelle hardware.
• 5+ years of experience with CATIA V5.

Responsibilities

• Manages technology development projects to understand and mature new tools, processes and methods for nacelles.
• Designs and develops components, runs trade studies, and develops nacelle and propulsion architecture for the next Boeing airplane program.
• Coordinates with Propulsion Product Development in the Northwest and other locations.
• Works with many other functions, sometimes outside PSC.
• Works with vague, changing requirements with little direction.
