Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Advanced Controls Lead Engineer in the Propulsion Controls Engineering Department to lead the design and implementation of propulsion control strategies for conventional and electrified powertrains. You will drive system development, calibration, and testing from design through in-vehicle prototyping.

The role requires expertise in control algorithm development, virtual co-simulation, and strong leadership within a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems or Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in propulsion control algorithm development and virtual co-simulation.
  • Strong problem solving and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of propulsion control strategies for conventional and electrified systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coordination across cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Oversee development from design to in-vehicle prototyping and testing with a focus on robust calibration.
