Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) invites a Proposal Manager 2 to lead full lifecycle proposals, ensuring compliant, compelling, and on-time submissions that win new business. You will guide a multifaceted team and partner with leaders across divisions to deliver strategic bids for US Government, international, and commercial customers.

The role is based in Redondo Beach, CA, on-site with up to 25% travel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience on competitive proposals (Proposal Manager/Volume Captain/Capture Manager).
• Knowledge of the US Government competitive acquisition process including FAR/DFAR.
• 3+ years leading complex cross-functional projects with risk management accountability.
• Ability to influence across a cross-functional organization at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint Online.

• On-time, compliant delivery – Own the schedule and quality of every proposal, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Process rigor & risk management – Apply and tailor established proposal processes, monitor and mitigate risk.
• Strategic proposal planning – Develop and execute plans for complex solicitations from US Government, international, and commercial customers.
• Capture partnership – Align with capture leaders to assess bid readiness and translate capabilities into proposals.
• Cross-functional leadership – Coordinate local and dispersed teams to produce cohesive submissions.
• Continuous improvement – Drive proposal-process enhancements, tools, and training.
