Job summary

SLSCO in New York is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, aligning strategies with client objectives and driving compelling content with cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate with estimating, engineering, and operations, engage clients to understand requirements, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor junior staff to improve proposal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of proposal experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with proposal content development with technical teams
• Experience with state/local agencies proposals

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of the proposal process, including strategy development and final submission
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to define win strategies and objectives
• Oversee content development and client-focused messaging
• Coordinate across estimating, engineering, and operations to integrate technical and commercial aspects
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and expectations
• Ensure proposals comply with client specifications and company standards
• Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and mentor junior team members
