Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager in Houston to lead the end-to-end proposal development cycle. You will coordinate SMEs, writers, and contributors to craft compliant, competitive proposals that meet client requirements and drive business growth.

You will manage schedules, lead content development, and ensure rigorous quality assurance while collaborating with BD and Operations to address queries and align with capture strategies. This role offers growth in a dynamic, mission-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of direct proposal management experience on complex government bids of $100M+
• Proven ability delivering compliant, winning proposals aligned with capture direction
• Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from RFP analysis to submission
• Coordinate with SMEs, writers, and contributors to gather information for content
• Provide leadership and direction to managers and professional staff
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules and allocate resources to meet deadlines
• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity and compliance
• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure high-quality proposals and best-practice adoption
• Interact with BD and Operations to address queries and align with business goals
• Maintain a repository of proposal content and reusable materials
