Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and logistics for government proposals. You will interpret complex RFPs, build compliant templates, and manage production from draft to final submission.

Ideal candidates have DoD Secret clearance, 7–10 years’ experience with Adobe Acrobat and MS Office, and a proven track record in government proposals and document management systems. This role requires independent work and strict deadline adherence.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• 7–10 years of demonstrated expertise in Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Government proposals and analyzing solicitation requirements for formatting, compliance, and production.
• Extensive experience using styles to format Word documents and develop templates for large, complex proposal volumes.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal planning, scheduling, and logistics with minimal support, coordinating cross-team activities.
• Read and interpret complex RFPs to understand submission instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Create compliant Word templates and writing shells; perform desktop publishing using Office and Adobe Acrobat; ensure proper graphics placement and formatting.
• Maintain strict version-control and ownership of proposal files from draft to final production; manage TEAMS and SharePoint spaces.
• Prepare administrative proposal documents and slide decks; coordinate with Graphics; participate in daily standups.
• Oversee production and delivery activities, including color reviews, printing, tabs, assembly, and final submission; manage War Room logistics and related invoices.
