CDW is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to own large, high-value pursuits from assignment through submission and post-submission. As the quarterback, you will coordinate sales, technical, pricing, contracts, legal, program management, partners and vendors with independence to produce compliant, win-focused responses.

You will lead complex proposals, drive color team reviews, shape win themes and write compelling, compliant content aligned to evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Five+ years of proposal writing or proposal management experience, including leading complex responses.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, including strengthening others' work.
• Proven project management skills; able to lead large cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple complex, deadline-driven projects with little oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance focus.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and helping others adopt them.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Sound judgement under pressure with executive-level communication.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor others.

Responsabilités

• Lead the largest, most complex pursuits, including multi-volume bids.
• Analyze requirements, criteria and risks; map to owners with compliance matrices.
• Research customer, incumbent and competition to inform bid decisions.
• Kickoff, schedule creation and tracking risks and actions across pursuits.
• Manage multiple proposals with limited oversight and accountability for contributors.
• Serve as escalation point for schedule, resource and compliance issues.
• Coordinate reviews (color team) and drive comments to closure.
• Shape win strategy, themes and value propositions with the team.
• Write executive summaries and advise on win themes and proposal strength.
• Write persuasive, compliant content in one voice aligned to evaluation criteria.
• Use approved AI tools to analyze solicitations and draft content.
• Verify AI output and protect confidential data; grow content library.
• Ensure compliance with forms, certifications and page limits; assemble and submit on time.
• Lead debriefs and lessons-learned sessions; support clarifications and BAFOs.
• Coach and mentor junior staff; support onboarding and training.
• Lead or contribute to process improvements and templates.
