Job summary

Techno is seeking a driven Senior Proposal Coordinator to advance growth across transportation, water, facilities, and public infrastructure markets. The role suits a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, crafting compelling content and shaping strategic messaging to win work.

You will coordinate proposals from kickoff to submission, collaborate with technical staff, maintain marketing resources, and mentor junior team members while ensuring branding and quality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in marketing, proposal coordination, or business development support.
• AEC industry experience preferred.
• Experience preparing proposals and qualifications for public/private clients.
• Familiarity with NY/NJ procurement processes preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, InDesign, and Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposals, qualifications, presentations, and other pursuit materials from kickoff through submission.
• Collaborate with technical staff and leadership to develop client-focused proposal content.
• Maintain marketing resources, including project profiles, resumes, firm qualifications, and BD materials.
• Write and edit proposal content, project sheets, award submissions, brochures, and marketing communications.
• Support capture planning with strategic messaging, differentiators, and visuals.
• Assist with market research, opportunity tracking, and BD initiatives.
• Help manage website content, digital marketing and social media communications.
• Ensure materials meet quality, branding, and submission requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and improve proposal/marketing processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 3–5 years of marketing, proposal coordination, or business development support experience.
• AEC industry experience preferred.
• Experience preparing proposals and qualifications for public and private sector clients.
• Familiarity with New York and New Jersey public agency procurement processes preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with website content management systems and digital marketing tools is a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $65,000/yr-$95,000/yr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
