Job summary

Cozen O'Connor's National Subrogation Services (NSS) seeks an experienced Recovery Specialist to independently manage a portfolio of complex property subrogation claims from assignment through resolution. You will focus on identifying recovery opportunities, evaluating liability and damages, developing strategies, and maximizing client recoveries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in property claims, subrogation or related field.
• Degree preferred (associate or bachelor) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of property claims, liability analysis, coverage, subrogation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of property subrogation claims from assignment through resolution.
• Review files to evaluate liability, damages and recovery potential.
• Develop recovery strategies and pursue opportunities via negotiation, arbitration, mediation, or litigation support.
• Prepare demand packages and interact with insurers, attorneys and clients.
• Maintain accurate claim files and documentation.
