Job summary

Zurich North America’s Property Risk Engineering team seeks a Senior Property Account Engineer with highly protected risk (HPR) experience. The role is remote, preferably located in the Northeast, and may require travel to a local Zurich Office about once a month.

The position focuses on managing risk portfolios, providing account-level engineering to meet underwriting requirements, and supporting plan reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in Risk Engineering.
• High School Diploma with 8+ years in Risk Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage account risk portfolio and provide account-level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
• Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations.
• Perform plan reviews and support change management.
• Provide engineering support to underwriting team by attending client broker meetings.
• Monitor property account engineering services to ensure delivery is proper, on-time, and cost-effective.
• Provide advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential and investigation of major losses.
• Assist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products with underwriting professionals and agents.
• Assist in marketing Zurich Resilience Solutions risk engineering services.
