Job summary

Zurich North America’s Property Risk Engineering team is seeking a Senior Property Account Engineer with highly protected risk (HPR) experience. This remote role is preferably located in the North East Region and may require travel to a local Zurich office about once a month.

The Senior Property Risk Account Engineer will manage an account risk portfolio, provide account level engineering to meet underwriting requirements, and support change management and client meetings with underwriting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years in Risk Engineering or equivalent experience.
High School Diploma with 8+ years in Risk Engineering.
Experience with Microsoft Office and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Manage account risk portfolio and provide account level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve operations.
Perform plan reviews and support change management.
Provide engineering support to underwriting teams at client broker meetings.
Monitor delivery of property account engineering services for timeliness and cost effectiveness.
Provide advanced property consultative services identifying exposures with loss potential.
Assist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products with underwriting and agents.
Assist in marketing Zurich Resilience Solutions risk engineering services.
