Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Property Risk Account Engineer consultant with highly protected risk (HPR) experience. This remote role supports the Property Risk Engineering team, ideally located in the Northeast region and may require monthly travel to a Zurich office.

The position involves account risk portfolio management, engineering to meet underwriting requirements, and collaboration with underwriting, brokers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in Risk Engineering or high school diploma with 8+ years in Risk Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an account risk portfolio and provide account-level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
• Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations.
• Perform plan reviews and support change management.
• Provide engineering support to underwriting team by attending client broker meetings.
• Monitor property account engineering services to ensure delivery is proper, on-time, and cost effective.
