Job summary

Glick is seeking an experienced Property Manager for the 150-unit Fairington of Lafayette community. You will oversee budgeting, marketing, maintenance supervision, and on-site administration, supervising staff and serving as the senior on-site manager.

The role requires 2–4 years of management experience in residential or commercial facilities, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel for training. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in management of residential or commercial facilities.
• Experience with PC based word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Demonstrated supervisory potential.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Must be willing to travel for training and meetings.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend the English language.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the operating budget to control expenses and meet financial objectives.
• Supervise rent collection and all monies on site with prompt deposit and record keeping.
• Ensure move-outs with balance are collected or turned over to collections.
• Review availability reports and adjust marketing strategy accordingly.
• Develop and monitor marketing to maximize occupancy and qualified prospects.
• Conduct marketing surveys and recommend improvements.
• Develop resident relations program and show/lease apartments.
• Achieve occupancy goals and inspect property for improvements and repairs.
• Train and develop team members and maintain positive work environment.
• Complete and submit all records, reports and documents; ensure compliance with HUD/IRS/Fair Housing.
