Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Property Manager in Michigan with apartment management experience to lead a team and drive performance across a community. You will plan and execute real estate activities and transactions while upholding LR Management standards.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, resident relations, budgeting, and maintaining compliance. A strong background in multi-family housing and leases is required, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with multi-family, mixed-income housing developments.
• Previous experience in property management or other related fields.
• Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases.
• Team-oriented.
• Ability to build rapport with tenants.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff and oversee timesheet submission.
• Approve all overtime and vacation requests.
• Participate in hiring and training staff.
• Conduct employee reviews.
• Maintain relations with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Oversee accounts receivable ensuring rent and fees are billed and collected.
• Prepare, post, and make bank deposits daily.
• Oversee contracts for timeliness and accuracy, and ensure vendors have proper COIs.
• Complete SODA reporting for corporate submission.
• Perform property inspections for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Conduct pre-move-in and move-out inspections and assess charges.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with Leasing Agent and Assistant Manager duties as needed.
• Prepare incident reports per LR Management policy.
