Job summary

LR Management is seeking a Property Manager in Michigan to lead a team and drive community performance. The role focuses on planning and executing real estate activities and ensuring operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate has multi-family property experience, strong communication, and the ability to supervise staff, manage accounts receivable, vendor contracts, and inspections. This position offers a competitive compensation package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with multi-family, mixed-income housing developments.
• Previous experience in property management or other related fields.
• Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases.
• Team-oriented and able to build rapport with tenants.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff and oversee timesheet submission.
• Approve all overtime and vacation requests.
• Participate in hiring and training staff.
• Conduct employee reviews.
• Maintain relations with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Oversee accounts receivable ensuring rent and fees are billed and collected.
• Prepare, post, and make bank deposits daily.
• Oversee service and capital contracts and maintain vendor certificates of insurance.
• Perform on-site inspections for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Conduct pre-move-in inspections and post move-out assessments for charges.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Perform Leasing Agent and Assistant Manager duties as needed.
• Prepare accident/incident reports per LR Management policies.
• Handle general office duties including phone, service requests, and records.
• Code and submit invoices to accounts payable weekly.
• Adhere to policies relating to fair housing and confidentiality.
