Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking a senior property claims professional to lead high-severity first party Property claims and oversee TPAs. The role requires evaluating coverage, managing claim diaries, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multi-jurisdictional markets including FL/TX.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in Commercial Property claims, an adjuster license, and strong negotiation, communication, and MS Office skills. Travel is required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years Commercial Property claims experience; Personal Lines Property and Liability preferred.
• Active adjuster license(s) as required.
• Experience in FL and/or TX markets; multi-jurisdictional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with claim handling guidelines regarding coverage, investigation, liability, damages evaluation and resolution.
• Provide technical oversight and direction to TPA claim handlers.
• Evaluate insurance contracts for coverage issues.
• Manage claim diaries to maintain progress toward claim resolution.
• Provide oversight and/or direct claim handling in accordance with jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company’s interest in claim market meetings.
• Provide timely communication to internal partners regarding large losses and insights.
• Contribute to process improvements in the Property Division and QA program.
