Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Property Claim professional to lead direct handling of high severity first-party property claims and oversee work performed by TPAs to ensure consistency and quality.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of commercial property coverage forms, multi-jurisdictional experience (FL/TX preferred), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years Commercial Property claims experience.
• Liability claim experience preferred.
• Litigation Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct handling of high severity first party Property claims.
• Oversight of Property claims handled by Third Party Administrator partners.
• Ensure compliance with claim handling guidelines on coverage, liability, damages and resolution.
• Provide technical oversight and direction to TPA claim handlers.
• Evaluate insurance contracts and identify coverage issues.
• Manage claim diaries to track progress toward resolution.
• Oversee claim handling in line with regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company in claim market meetings.
• Communicate timely to internal partners on large losses and insights.
• Contribute to process improvements for service, accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in Property Claim Quality Assurance program.
