Job summary

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. in Chicago seeks a Senior Claims Specialist, Property to lead claim management for the Property and Programs portfolio across multiple markets.

The role requires independent investigation, evaluation, and disposition of complex claims, with liaison to account/broker representatives and exposure analysis for leadership. The base salary range is $115,000–$140,000 with potential bonuses, strong health and retirement benefits, and a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Commercial Property claims handling experience at an insurance carrier.
• Active adjuster license(s) and/or eligible to obtain within 90 days of joining.
• Experience in TPA oversight and/or file quality audits is preferred.
• Ability to assist during CAT events.
• Experience collaborating with legal, operations, underwriting and actuaries.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven insights.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and urgency in results.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage assigned caseload of first-party Commercial Property shared/layered claims from intake to resolution, including evaluation, reserving, and coverage analysis.
• Document claim files thoroughly in line with company policy, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft/Review coverage letters and communicate coverage positions to insureds, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with TPA oversight and governance, including performing audits of Vantage's Programs as assigned, and present findings to Claims Leadership.
• Assist with internal projects as assigned.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with TPA partners, insureds, brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
• Follow all of Vantage’s reserving, escalation, and reporting protocols.
• Identify emerging trends across assigned caseload and the broader Property market and share insights with Claims Leadership and business partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
