COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Sr. Property Claims Adjuster to join our field claims team in Effingham, IL.

The role involves on-site and virtual inspections, using drones for property assessments, and handling all aspects of claim evaluation, negotiation, and settlement. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience, active adjuster licensing, and the ability to work in a professional office or work-from-home setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant claims experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
• Part 107 drone license required for roof inspections for Property-Field representatives; license within 5 months of start date; pass exam within 3 attempts.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims by determining policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating and settling assigned claims.
• Initiates contact with insureds, claimants and relevant parties to gather information, obtain statements, and explain the claims process.
• Completes physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates per policy provisions.
