Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to join our field claims team. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property claims, using drones for inspections and virtual claim handling software to guide clients safely through the process.

This full-time role covers Effingham, Illinois and surrounding areas, with 7+ years of experience expected. A 107 drone license is required for roof inspections, and a license must be obtained within 5 months.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant property claims experience.
• Maintains the appropriate adjuster's license as required by the states in which we do business.
• Drone license (Part 107) required for roof inspections; obtain within 5 months of start date; pass exam within 3 attempts.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims by determining policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
• Initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information and explain the overall claims process.
• Completes physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
