Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Sr. Property Claims Adjuster to join our field claims team in Effingham, Illinois. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property claims and may use drones for inspections.

This role supports on-site inspections and virtual claim handling to guide clients safely through the process. The position requires field work across the territory including Effingham, with licensing and regulatory requirements to be maintained.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Maintains necessary adjuster licensing as required by states.
• Drone license (Part 107) required for roof inspections for Property-Field roles.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims by determining policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
• Completes physical and/or virtual inspections and prepares written estimates per policy provisions and liability.
• Communicates with insureds, claimants and relevant parties to gather information and explain the claims process.
