Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Appraisal Analyst to perform advanced property valuations across residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial types.

You will mentor junior appraisers, prepare detailed reports, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. You will analyze market and financial data to determine accurate values for taxation, investment, or other purposes, while coordinating with clients and stakeholders to resolve valuation issues and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ten years mass appraisal experience across Residential, Agricultural & Commercial/Industrial.
• Appraisal certifications and PMP certification are preferred.
• Experience with TAX CAMA systems; multi-system experience preferred.
• SQL experience preferred.
• County/municipal government valuation/assessment experience required.
• Expertise in manipulating computer/statistical models for property valuation.
• Strong knowledge of appraisal standards and state regulations; passing state certifications.
• Knowledge of hearing/tracking module and assessment administration.
• Excellent decision making, mathematical, analytical and root cause problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Commercial and Residential Cost Systems (Marshall Swift, Boeckh) insights.
• Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, collaboration and customer service in dealing with clients, vendors, and management.
• Strong teambuilding, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and oral communications including presenting data to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced-level appraisals and assessments for various property types.
• Analyze financial, market, and property data to determine market values.
• Oversee the execution of appraisal projects ensuring alignment with contracts and quality standards.
• Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports meeting regulatory and professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal appraisal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, legal representatives and stakeholders to resolve valuation issues.
• Mentor and guide junior appraisers with training and technical guidance.
• Stay informed about market trends and valuation techniques.
• Represent the company in hearings, appeals, or court proceedings as an expert.
