About the Opportunity
We are a family-owned real estate investment company with a stable portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties in the DFW area. We maintain strong cash liquidity and a conservative balance sheet across the portfolio. That allows our accounting team to focus on accurate reporting, cash management, and improving the way we work rather than constantly reacting to financial pressure.
We are hiring a Senior Property Accounting Manager to report directly to the CFO and oversee property-level accounting for approximately 40 multifamily and commercial properties. You'll lead a small accounting team, manage the monthly close process, review financial reporting, oversee cash reporting, and help improve accounting processes across the portfolio.

- Oversee property-level cash reporting, lender compliance reporting, internal controls, and liquidity tracking.
- Work closely with property management and the CFO to resolve accounting issues and improve accounting processes.
- Help the team make effective use of RealPage and identify practical ways to improve how work gets done.
- Assist with acquisition accounting, new property and entity setup, tax preparation schedules, and lender requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including real estate or property management accounting.
- Strong understanding of property-level accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience supervising and developing accounting staff.
