Job summary

Advice Personnel is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to lead a small team and manage all accounting for a Manhattan condo portfolio. The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and capex in a semi-remote setting.

The successful candidate will have residential property accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with AppFolio or Yardi. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Years of dedicated residential property accounting experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with property platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting workflows for condo portfolio with minimal supervision.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and customized reports.
• Conduct variance analyses and reconcile contract values.
• Complete monthly bank-to-ledger reconciliations and standard journal entries.
• Oversee cash receipts, deposits and tax remittances.
• Audit tenant ledgers and reconcile billing statements.
• Oversee new property setup and analyze historical data.
