Qualifications

• Established property accounting experience within real estate or property management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle month-end close processes.
• Dive into issues with internal and external stakeholders and drive resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination with third-party property management and Asset Management partners to ensure accurate owner reporting.
• Serve as primary accounting contact between internal Asset Management and external property management teams.
• Review financial statements, operating reports, reconciliations and schedules in third-party systems.
• Analyze results, investigate variances, and drive corrections before reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers to resolve issues and improve reporting accuracy.
• Manage month-end close for assigned property entities and ensure timely submission.
• Review property-level statements and supporting documentation for internal reporting.
• Perform reconciliations and variance analysis; support process improvements.
