Job summary

Realvest Asset Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to own the accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial properties, and small entities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Four or more years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience in property management, real estate, or multi-entity accounting.
• GAAP knowledge including accrual accounting, depreciation, and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly property financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications for an assigned portfolio.
• Reconcile property balance sheet, bank, and resident security deposit accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain property-level fixed asset, depreciation, accrual, and prepaid expense schedules.
• Record property intercompany activity and assist with month-end and year-end closes.
• Monitor cash activity across the portfolio and track financing obligations and reserves.
• Prepare state-level tax returns and property tax assessment reviews; support compliance reporting.
• Calculate and oversee RUBS billing and coordinate with operations on billing changes.
• Assist with budgeting, owner reporting, and variance analysis.
• Process payroll via ADP and coordinate HR changes; prepare payroll-related journal entries.
