Job summary

RPM Living in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Property Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties. This role covers financial reporting, cash management and the general ledger, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly financials, reconciling balance sheet accounts, handling cash disbursements, and communicating with clients and property management to deliver timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial information by deadlines and maintain internal controls.
• Prepare financials for multiple clients with different reporting requirements.
• Communicate with clients and property management with excellent customer service.
• Record journal entries and accruals, reconcile income and document prepaid rent in industry software.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage cash flow to pay expenses and predict funding needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
