Job summary

TMG Property Management Services NW is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant in Vancouver, WA to support the accounting for a portfolio of client-owned multifamily properties. This role offers hands-on experience in property accounting and potential progression to ownership of a dedicated portfolio.

You’ll assist with monthly statements, reconciliations, move-outs, and invoicing while building strong client and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Review and process resident move-outs in accordance with applicable requirements
• Prepare move-out refunds and related correspondence
• Review and verify invoices and check requests for accuracy
• Process electronic payments and accounts payable checks
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Assist with annual 1099 preparation, mailing, and filing
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Communicate professionally with clients, residents, vendors, and internal team members
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting projects
• As you become fully trained, manage full-cycle accounting for a dedicated portfolio of properties

Title: Junior Property Accountant Pay: $24-27/hr Location: Vancouver, WA We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant to support the accounting functions for a portfolio of client-owned multifamily properties. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounting experience who wants to continue developing their skills, gain exposure to property accounting, and eventually take ownership of a dedicated portfolio.

What You’ll Do
