Job summary

Realvest Asset Management, LLC is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to own the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This full-cycle role includes cash management, RUBS billing, tax reviews, and year-end close, working with Property Managers and Asset Managers to optimize portfolio performance.

You will prepare monthly statements, reconcile ledgers, and support audits, while monitoring cash flow and coordinating with operations on

Qualifications

• Four+ years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience in property/real estate.
• Proven ability to close month and year-end, with reconciliations and audit schedules.
• GAAP knowledge including accruals, depreciation, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly property financial statements and journal entries.
• Reconcile property balance sheets, bank and resident security deposits.
• Oversee RUBS billing and property tax reviews.
• Process field payroll via ADP and allocate costs to properties.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure financial accuracy across portfolio.
