Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Staff Accountant in Montgomery, OH to oversee all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting. This permanent, on-site role requires a detail-oriented analyst who can produce accurate monthly financials and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of property accounting experience, incl. CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and conducting all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinating with property management teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of property-level financial data.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Providing support during external audits and tax preparation.
• Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.
