Job Title: Senior Property Accountant

Location: Chester, VA 23836 (Onsite)

With a legacy of 25 years in digital infrastructure investment and operations, CTP was established in 2022 to develop specialized wholesale data center capacity across large campuses in the U.S.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to have responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for CTP's data center business.The Senior Accountant will assist in maintaining the accounting records for our data centers, preparing financial reports, supporting audits and compliance efforts, and supporting senior management in monitoring the performance of the business.The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and a proficient understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

·Recording all income and expenses related to properties and projects including rent receipts, utility costs, maintenance costs, and property taxes.

·Creating detailed journal entries and posting them to the general ledger.

·Lead the period-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are accurately and timely recorded.

·Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

·Monitoring actual performance against budget and providing variance explanations.

·Assist with preparing and analyzing period-end financial statements.

·Collaborate with other members of the Company in support of maintaining accurate books and records.

·Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies and controls.

·Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.

·Support external audits and other compliance activities.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·3-5+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial reporting.

·Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“US GAAP”).

·Knowledge of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”).

·Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft suite, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience working in data centers, real estate development, REITs, or infrastructure-related businesses.

·Knowledge of US GAAP relevant to real estate and infrastructure projects, such as cost capitalization, consolidations, revenue recognition and leases.

·Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or eligible.

·Experience working at a big four or large accounting firm, or relevant industry experience.

·Paid time off

Schedule: In-person, Monday to Friday
