Our Real Estate client is hiring a Senior Property Accountant to carry out full Month end close for their investment portfolios. To quickly acclimate to the role, Yardi or MRI software experience is highly preferred to manage their tenant accounts and general ledger. Their office headquarters are located near Bridgewater, NJ, easily accessible from rt 22, rt78, and rt 202/206.

Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Preparing Tenant Statements and Rent Runs
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB
• Perform Financial Statement Analysis
• Maintain Real Estate, Cam, and Utility Expenses
• Perform Cash Journal Entries
• Manage and Maintain CAM Charges
• Provide Written Variance Analysis - Budget vs Actual
• Perform Qtrly Budget and Forecasting
• Perform Fixed Assets and Depreciation
• Reconcile Bank Statements
• Process Billing Statements, Payments, Check Deposits
• Assists with Qtrly and Annual Audit
• Manage Disputed Charges and Process Late Fees

Skills Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, required
• At least 5yrs of Experience
• Yardi or MRI software experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
