L2B Invest in Florida is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a growing commercial real estate portfolio. This role provides ownership of property-level and entity-level accounting across a multi-entity structure, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and banking activity tracking.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of accounting experience with CRE exposure, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and property management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience, CRE exposure preferred.
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (GAAP).
• Experience with property-level accounting and multi-entity ownership structures.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with accounting and property management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own property-level and entity-level accounting across a multi-entity structure (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, banking activity).
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Perform CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations; support recoveries and tenant inquiries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning at property and portfolio levels.
• Prepare lender/investor reporting, including debt service tracking and covenants.
• Assist with acquisitions/dispositions accounting and annual audit process.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support an active and growing commercial real estate portfolio. This position carries meaningful ownership and visibility across a diverse mix of asset types and ownership structures.

Because our portfolio transacts continuously, this position provides exposure to the full asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, financings and refinancings, lease-up, distributions, and dispositions. The successful candidate will work directly with firm leadership and will have a clear path to expanded responsibility as the platform grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own property‑level and entity‑level accounting across a multi‑entity structure, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and banking activity tracking.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Perform CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations, and support recovery billings and tenant inquiries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning at both the property and portfolio level.
• Prepare lender and investor reporting, including debt service tracking, covenant compliance, and distribution support.
• Support acquisitions and dispositions accounting, including closing statement entries, prorations, and new entity setup.
• Assist with the annual audit process, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Help ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Participate in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with acquisitions, transactions, and property management teams.
