• 5+ years of experience in proofing.
• Proficiency in food writing, retail design, and typesetting.

• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, email.
• Ability to coach and mentor.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure error-free print and digital advertising (e.g., tabloids, inserts, ads, coupons, signs, emails, web pages).
• Read/proof all versions against copy or job brief.
• Maintain relationships with marketing managers to verify ad information.
• Apply H-E-B branding for consistency and standards.
• Communicate layout and text revisions to Partners before printing.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for ad changes.
• Gather background to define objectives of proofing projects.
• Help coordinate Proofing team workflow.
• Assist with new-Partner training.
• Verify work of Proofing team members.
• Assist cross-functional proofing needs as assigned.
