Job summary

The Manager - Projects Unit at Avangrid will oversee activities between project managers, engineers and construction staff to plan, design and execute initiatives across Maine, New York and Connecticut. You’ll ensure teams deliver within budgets, schedules and scope while applying engineering standards.

This role requires leadership to optimize capital delivery, manage CWIP and energization plans, coordinate with regulators and external contractors, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related energy field; 7 years PM experience.
• Three years in managing complex, strategic or regulatory initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage team performance to meet goals, schedules, budgets, and deliverables on time and under budget.
• Identify interdependencies across projects and resolve interactions.
• Control project scope to mitigate changes and risks.
• Provide regular briefings/reports for executives or regulatory agencies.
• Lead governance and procurement strategies for materials and labor.
