Avangrid in New York seeks a Lead Engineer - Transmission & Substation Project Development to drive early-stage project development and investment justification. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, and external resources to shape reliable T&S solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with 7+ years in T&D, plus the ability to mentor staff and communicate with executives, regulators and ISOs. On-site work in NY is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of practical experience across T&D power systems is required.
• MBA and/or PE license is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop the majority of new T&S capital projects to a Conceptual design level (IP2) ready for financial approval.
• Ensure projects meet Investment Plan requirements with proper justification and documentation.
• Lead TSRG reviews and coordinate with regulators, ISO, and internal stakeholders.
