Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree in engineering or science; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two years of technical schooling may substitute for college degree.
• Military Technical School completion acceptable.

Responsibilities

• With limited or no supervision, documents own work in handwritten form or using computer software.
• Performs scientific experiments and tests with complex lab equipment independently or with senior personnel.
• Applies analytic and test experience in acceptance procedures.
• Programs computer controlled automated/semi-automated equipment.
• Mentors or trains junior technicians when directed.
• Other temporary assignments as needed by supervisor.
