Job summary

Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Surveyor in our Leesburg, VA office. Candidate must be responsible, highly motivated, and a detail-oriented individual interested in joining our Land Surveying department.

Must be able to work in a team environment as a key member of a professional surveying staff assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, platting, right-of-way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma; College degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and survey computations.
• Ability to travel short distances as required.
• Experience with Carlson Survey, Carlson SurvCE and Trimble tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the survey project manager with daily office workload.
• Schedule and communicate workload status to meet deadlines.
• Upload/download data collectors and reduce field data.
• Perform boundary and topographic surveys and construction stakeout.
• Draft Boundary, ALTA, topographic, and record plats.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge with new software and tech.
• Work independently or as part of a field crew.
• Maintain safety compliance and prepare daily cutsheets.
