Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee field construction on a large project in Wisconsin. The role covers planning, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and coordination across trades to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with extensive construction experience, deep knowledge of building systems, codes, and BIM/Lean practices, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus four years' related training and at least 15 years of building construction experience.
• Proficient in all aspects of building systems and understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of building codes, cost control procedures and compliance.
• Proficient with scheduling software and BIM/Lean technologies.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners, architects and engineers for day-to-day project activities.
• Lead, supervise and develop superintendents and staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop project setup, site logistics and critical-path schedules.
• Monitor subcontractor schedule impacts and productivity.
• Manage safety programs and ensure Turner safety standards compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, WIP, payrolls, invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and quality expectations.
• Coordinate multiple trades for a seamless project operation.
