Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a skilled Superintendent for our Chicago Main division, with project location in Port Washington, WI. The role leads subcontractor teams, ensures safety, monitors schedule delivery, and maintains quality and budget adherence for complex projects.

Minimum four years of related experience in construction, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate multiple trades are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus four years' related experience in construction
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels
• Coordinate work among trades to ensure coordinated project operations
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns
• Create schedules and determine sequencing of work; develop recovery strategies
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues
• Manage billing processes, including WIP, payrolls, invoices and payment applications
• Ensure work complies with approved contract documents
