Job summary

Net Power is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to own the IPS for Project Permian, leveraging MS Project as the primary tool, with Primavera P6 and OPC as key supporting platforms. The role partners with the Head of PMO and project manager to align schedule across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Based in Houston, TX, this contract role offers a hybrid work pattern (3 days in office, 2 remote) with periodic travel to project sites and partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of project scheduling on large capital projects, with at least 5 years as senior/lead scheduler on EPC-delivered power generation, oil & gas, or similar.
• Proactive, action-oriented mindset; able to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions across multiple teams.
• CPM scheduling, schedule risk analysis, earned value, Time Impact Analysis and DCMA 14-Point health assessments.
• PMI-SP, AACE PSP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and maintain the IPS in MS Project across all project phases.
• Lead integration of OPC in 2026 and migrate schedules from MS Project to OPC.
• Coordinate schedules from EPC, Owner’s Engineer, and other partners into a single IPS.
• Develop executive-ready schedule deliverables and dashboards for board and lender updates.
