Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Planner in Henderson, NV to lead development, implementation, and maintenance of project scheduling systems for studies and execution projects. You will drive schedule progress, forecasting, and analytics, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of scheduling experience on large capital projects.
• Mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial project experience preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and schedule reporting tools.
• Ability to interface with project managers, engineering managers, discipline leads, and clients.
• Experience performing critical path, what-if, and schedule risk analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules from study through execution.
• Establish planning and scheduling procedures, standards, and reporting requirements.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule recovery evaluations.
• Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare schedule forecasts and provide recommendations to support project decisions.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and client teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Develop progress measurement systems and produce regular schedule status reports.
• Support project execution planning, phase transitions, and gate reviews.
• Provide guidance, training, and leadership to planners and schedulers.
• Support staffing forecasts and resource planning for planning and scheduling functions.
