Job summary

AtkinsRealis in Henderson, NV seeks a Senior Planner to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project planning and scheduling systems to support successful delivery of studies and execution projects. You will provide schedule leadership, progress assessment, forecasting, and schedule analytics to project management and client teams.

Lead interface with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and client teams to ensure schedule alignment.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of project planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects.
• Experience developing schedules for mining studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPCM execution projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
• Experience performing critical path, what-if, and schedule risk analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules from study through execution.

• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule recovery evaluations.
• Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify emerging risks and opportunities.

• Develop progress measurement systems and produce regular schedule status reports.
• Support project execution planning, phase transitions, and gate reviews.
• Provide guidance, training, and functional leadership to project planners and schedulers.
• Support staffing forecasts and resource planning activities for planning and scheduling functions.

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and schedule reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
• Experience performing critical path, what-if, and schedule risk analyses.
• Ability to interface effectively with project managers, engineering managers, discipline leads, and clients.
• Mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial project experience strongly preferred.

Additional information
