Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Planner in Henderson, NV, to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project planning and scheduling systems for studies and execution projects.

You will provide schedule leadership, forecast progress, and deliver schedule analytics to project teams and clients, interfacing with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning groups. Experience in mining or heavy industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of project planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects.
• Experience developing schedules for mining studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPCM execution.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and schedule reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
• Experience performing critical path, what-if, and schedule risk analyses.
• Ability to interface with project managers, engineering managers, discipline leads, and clients.
• Mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial project experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and client teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Develop progress measurement systems and produce regular schedule status reports.
• Support project execution planning, phase transitions, and gate reviews.
• Provide guidance, training, and functional leadership to project planners and schedulers.
• Support staffing forecasts and resource planning activities for planning and scheduling functions.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $110,700 - $120,600 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
